Alice May Rickard Hughes85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 6, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Henry Rickard and Emma (Hartman). Alice worked as a bookkeeper at Hook Drugs. She was an accomplished artist in watercolors, acrylics and pencil portraits. Alice loved all animals and flowers. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Levona Gray and Doris Baker; brothers, Arthur, Maurice, George, Albert (Mike), and Robert Rickard. She is survived by daughter, Rhonda Susan Hughes; numerous nieces and nephews in Anderson, IN and Florida. Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Monday, October 9, with visitation from 1:30 pm at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation or the Humane Society of Indianapolis.

God blessed all of the Rickard family when Aunt Alice was born.
She was an extremely loyal, and dedicated – Daughter, Sister, Aunt and last but not least – Mother.
